This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee the implementation of electrical studies across multiple simultaneous bids and project initiatives.
• Define the technical benchmarks: create study templates and establish QA/QC protocols for the organization.
• Act as the main study liaison for clients and EOR teams while assessing third-party study submissions for thoroughness and adherence to requirements.
• Conduct and supervise a range of power system analyses, including Short Circuit, Reactive Power Flow, Annualized Energy Loss, and Ampacity studies.
• Develop and uphold study templates, methodologies, and QA/QC standards throughout the department.
• Evaluate and confirm EOR study submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Project Engineering, Estimating, Integrated Supply Chain, and Construction teams on the selection of equipment and materials throughout the project lifecycle.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution (or equivalent relevant experience); PE license required or to be obtained within one year of hiring.
• At least seven years of experience in electrical studies, demonstrating expertise in protection & planning, equipment sizing & rating, and electromagnetic compatibility.
