Full Stack Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• The Java Full Stack Developer will be tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications that encompass both backend and frontend systems within a SaaS environment.

• This position entails delivering comprehensive development solutions, which include architecture, API integration, database design, and performance optimization, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create reliable, maintainable solutions that facilitate platform growth.

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend and application components.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, covering requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Build and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, and JPA.

• Assist with frontend integration and development tasks utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern UI technologies as necessary.

• Design and manage relational database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and ensure data integrity, performance, and reporting requirements are met.

• Contribute to secure authentication and authorization processes utilizing technologies and standards such as OAuth2 and JWT.

• Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, product, and design teams to ensure quality delivery outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years in Java web application development.

• Strong expertise in Java (11+) and fundamental concepts such as OOP, collections, streams, and exception handling.

• Practical experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, and JPA.

• Demonstrated ability to design, create, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.

• Solid comprehension of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and database management (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with Git, build tools (Maven/Gradle), Agile methodologies, and strong debugging/problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with modern tools and practices such as React, Docker, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and secure coding standards is a plus.
