Full Stack Engineer, Rust

• As a Software Engineer at Second, you will play a crucial role in our endeavor to revolutionize e-commerce for services.

• You will have the chance to design and develop robust web APIs in Rust, utilizing your extensive experience with RESTful architectures.

• Your responsibilities will include creating scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant solutions while applying your knowledge of relational databases.

• Furthermore, you'll champion knowledge sharing within our team and collaborate on a contemporary architecture centered around microservices and asynchronous messaging.

⛳️ Requirements

• Design and create high-performance web APIs utilizing Rust.

• Engage with RESTful architectures to develop scalable solutions.

• Construct reliable and fault-tolerant systems.

• Employ relational databases for efficient data management.

• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and teamwork.

• Architect and create microservices along with event-driven solutions.

• Implement event sourcing, CQRS, and eventual consistency principles.

• Apply design patterns to deliver maintainable software solutions.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with Kubernetes for application deployment.

• Leadership experience managing small engineering teams.

• Proficient in continuous deployment practices.

• Familiarity with gRPC for efficient service communication.

• Experience with full stack Rust web frameworks such as Yew or Leptos.

• Knowledge of non-relational data stores (document, key-value stores).

• Expertise in integrating search solutions (Elastic, Solr).

• Proficient in the functional programming aspects of Rust.

• Experience with implementing Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

• Prior experience with multi-tenant software solutions.

• Experience with asynchronous integrations, such as cloud events.

• Mastery of other typed languages such as Go and TypeScript.
