
Full Stack Engineer, Experimentation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient solutions for experimentation and data-driven products, emphasizing usability and maintainability.
β’ Collaborate with senior engineers on architectural decisions that influence system scalability and performance.
β’ Lead features with limited scope from definition through to deployment.
β’ Assist in identifying and troubleshooting performance issues while participating in efforts to enhance service reliability.
β’ Work closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers to implement new features and iterate on existing functionalities.
β’ Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
β’ Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code that improves the reusability and readability of team systems.
β’ Contribute to the teamβs initiatives aimed at enhancing observability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
β’ Assist in investigating and resolving production issues, occasionally collaborating with customer support or other teams as necessary.
β’ Collaborate across departments to align priorities, identify blockers, and improve team workflows.
β’ Learn from and support more senior engineers while fostering a culture of growth, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
β’ Stay updated with industry trends related to software development, experimentation, and backend technologies.
β’ Exhibit curiosity, creative problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
β’ Over 4 years of hands-on experience in building full stack web applications.
β’ Familiarity with Typescript, React, Node, and Go is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.
β’ Experience in building or maintaining scalable, production-quality systems.
β’ Familiarity with observability practices and tools (e.g., logging, metrics, monitoring).
β’ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is advantageous.
β’ Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
β’ Comfortable working in Agile development environments.
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
β’ Passionate about writing high-quality code and continuously enhancing engineering practices.
β’ A self-motivated attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
β’ Ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
β’ Prior experience working with or contributing to distributed teams is a plus.
