Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Creating engaging charts and dashboards that enable users to visualize occupancy rates, revenue progression, and competitive landscapes.

• Revamping essential workflows to ensure advanced revenue management settings are easily accessible to non-technical hosts.

• Collaborating closely with our design and product teams from the outset to prototype features, ensuring technical feasibility while maintaining an excellent user experience.

• Making pivotal decisions regarding state management, data fetching methodologies, and performance enhancements to ensure the application remains responsive.

• Implementing code updates weekly (or even daily) and celebrating your achievements with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in full-stack development, possessing a "T-shaped" skill set that is particularly strong in Front-End technologies.

• Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Typescript, Tailwind) at an expert level.

• Strong understanding of backend architecture (preferably Ruby on Rails, Postgres) to effectively work alongside backend engineers or manage tasks independently.

• Solid expertise in CSS and responsive design, with ideally some experience in data visualization libraries (e.g., Highcharts, D3.js, Recharts).

• Ability to evaluate a design in Figma not only for feasibility but also for its usability.

• Proven ability to work independently, communicate asynchronously, and maintain a balanced work ethic.

• You don't merely create pages; you develop scalable and reusable components that enhance the efficiency of the entire team.

• You appreciate working autonomously and taking ownership while communicating with business stakeholders for clarity.

• You assess complex pricing tables and think about how to simplify them for users without sacrificing detail.

• You pay attention to the finer details—the micro-interactions, loading states, and empty states that contribute to a polished product experience.

• You are eager to guide colleagues with a backend focus on CSS grid or React hooks, while also being enthusiastic about learning from them regarding database optimization.
