Full-Stack Developer, Python, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Creating and implementing tailored web applications from start to finish

• Engaging in both backend and frontend development, including API design, data integrations, and cloud architecture

• Collaborating closely with biologists, data scientists, and product teams within a highly cooperative environment that emphasizes clean architecture, thorough documentation, and maintainability

• Building comprehensive features using Python (FastAPI) and React

• Designing and constructing integrations for large-scale data workflows

• Working with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud infrastructure (GCP)

• Participating in initial prototyping and architectural discussions

• Maintaining code quality through adherence to best practices, testing, and documentation

• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and assumptions regarding data/APIs

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in an agile setting

• Experience with data-intensive applications in scientific or biological contexts

• Strong expertise in Python 3.9+ and cloud-based application development

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React

• Familiarity with BigQuery

• Practical experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Oracle

• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices

• Knowledge of cloud services, particularly GCP

• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and an ownership mentality

• Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders in cross-functional teams

• Must be located in Czechia, Slovakia, or Hungary

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
