Full Stack Developer – Node.js, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for developing and enhancing backend services within our technology stack (TypeScript, Node.js, Nest.js, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, ...)

• You will collaborate with agile teams to create cloud-based platforms for our clients.

• You will play a role in contributing to API specifications and crafting data models.

• You will design and implement robust APIs as well as database schemas.

• You will engage in the quality assurance process and create tests for your implementations.

• You will utilize modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows to maximize efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant backend experience in TypeScript/Node.js or Java (if you come from a Java background, a readiness to transition to TypeScript is essential).

• A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

• Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, transactions, indexes, constraints).

• Experience in API design (REST/HTTP, and ideally GraphQL as well).

• Knowledge of frontend development using React (or a similar framework).

• Proficient use of IDEs, the command line, and Git.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in backend development (TypeScript/Node.js or Java).

• Very good proficiency in both German and English.

• Bonus: Familiarity with Nest.js and Prisma ORM.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of Google Cloud or similar cloud platforms, including provisioning through Terraform.

• Experience with Next.js.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
