Full Stack Developer, JavaScript, Database

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain web applications utilizing front-end technologies.

• Having experience or knowledge in backend technologies will be beneficial.

• Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces employing modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks like NextJS, React.js, or Angular, as well as front-end CSS frameworks such as Tailwind and Bootstrap.

• Establish RESTful and GraphQL APIs to facilitate communication between backend and front-end applications.

• Draft clear and concise API documentation, including usage guides and code examples, to assist both internal and external developers in integration. A fundamental understanding of Open API specifications is required.

• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Node.js ecosystem and architecture, along with integrations with popular third-party libraries.

• Implement API authentication and authorization methods, such as OAuth, JWT, or API keys, to guarantee data security and privacy.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Engage in requirement analysis sessions to comprehend business needs and user demands.

• Offer technical insights and recommendations throughout the requirements-gathering phase.

• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

• Work closely with Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions within scope.

• Adapt to shifting priorities and requirements in a dynamic Agile environment.

• Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of applications.

• Write unit tests and validate the functionality of developed features and individual components.

• Create integration tests to confirm that various elements within a given application operate as intended and meet specified requirements.

• Identify and address software defects, code smells, and performance bottlenecks.

• Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in full-stack development.

• Propose innovative solutions to enhance the performance, security, scalability, and maintainability of applications.

• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize and refactor existing codebases for improved efficiency.

• Keep abreast of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and product managers.

• Promote a collaborative and inclusive work atmosphere where ideas are shared and valued.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven track record as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience.

• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries like React.js or Angular.

• Strong grasp of server-side languages.

• Experience with database technologies, including SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases, is essential.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development methods.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
