Full-Stack Developer – Fintech Backend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Crafting and developing backend services that drive financial operations including payments, ledgers, transaction processing, and compliance workflows.

• Integrating with external payment providers, banking APIs, and cryptocurrency infrastructure.

• Taking ownership of intricate backend logic while also contributing to the React-based frontend when necessary.

• Ensuring the integrity, security, and regulatory compliance of financial data across the entire stack.

• Collaborating closely with product and business stakeholders who are knowledgeable in finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3+ years of practical experience in developing fintech products, preferably a crypto exchange or digital bank (this is a mandatory requirement, not a preference).

• Proficient in Python backend development (Django).

• Hands-on experience with financial systems including payments, ledgers, double-entry accounting logic, and reconciliation.

• Experience in integrating with external payment providers through APIs, webhooks, payment flows, and error handling.

• Familiarity with compliance-sensitive workflows such as KYC, AML, and transaction monitoring.

• Comfortable working with React on the frontend—you don’t need to be a UI expert, but should be able to manage a feature from start to finish.

• Experience with relational databases and financial data modeling, preferably using PostgreSQL.
