Full-Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Full-stack development: You will create front-end applications utilizing React.js and Java. Additionally, you will assist in back-end development using Java (and occasionally PHP) to support these applications. Your role will encompass all phases of the product lifecycle — from concept to deployment — while integrating AI tools into your workflow.

• Product & design collaboration: You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to transform specific requirements into effective, scalable, and well-designed solutions.

• Agile methodology: You will be a vital member of our Agile Scrum team, engaging actively in ceremonies and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our processes.

• Quality & maintenance: You will assist in producing technical documentation, scoping and estimation, code reviews, and maintaining existing features to ensure product stability and optimal performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of combined experience in both front-end and back-end development.

• Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, focusing on component architecture and performance optimization.

• Practical experience with Java and/or PHP on the back end, along with a solid grasp of REST APIs and object-oriented design patterns.

• Full-stack experience in a SaaS environment or a comparable setting.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools (Git, code reviews, ceremonies).

• Comfortable with using AI tools to enhance and expedite development tasks (preferred).

• Proficient in MySQL: capable of writing complex queries, performance tuning, and understanding data architecture trade-offs.
