This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications that support aviation maintenance and operational workflows.
• Create modern, responsive front-end interfaces utilizing frameworks like React, Angular, or other similar technologies.
• Develop secure and high-performance backend services, APIs, and integrations for enterprise systems.
• Convert business and product requirements into technical designs and high-quality code.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features from start to finish.
• Design and optimize databases, data models, and queries to enhance performance and scalability.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications in production settings.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to boost performance and usability.
• Create reusable components, services, and frameworks to expedite development across teams.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and facilitate automated testing and deployment processes.
• Document system architecture, design decisions, and development workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7+ years of experience in full-stack development delivering production-level applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with backend technologies like Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python.
• Expert-level SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven systems, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with containerization and environments (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable, cloud-based applications, with a strong preference for direct experience on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and capability to collaborate across functions.
