Fulfillment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete order processing, routing, and shipping lifecycle for the designated retail partnership.

• Monitor orders from the moment they are placed until delivery, proactively addressing issues to prevent delays.

• Ensure that each shipment complies with the specific requirements and routing guidelines of the retailer.

• Keep an eye on evolving compliance standards and identify gaps before they lead to chargebacks or rejected shipments.

• Act as the main point of contact for strategic partners.

• Coordinate production schedules and shipping timelines with co-packers and strategic partners.

• Resolve issues swiftly through clear and proactive communication, ensuring schedules remain on track.

• Monitor order status and provide data-driven operational insights to the wider team.

• Work collaboratively with logistics, sales, and customer service to keep all teams aligned and informed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in operations, fulfillment, or supply chain roles.

• Intermediate skills in spreadsheets, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data reporting.

• Exceptional communication abilities and a strong aptitude for building relationships with external partners.

• Strong organizational skills, especially in high-pressure situations and during periods of high volume.

• A proactive ownership mindset with the capability to identify issues early on.

• Preferred: Experience working with retail partnerships and knowledge of routing guides/compliance requirements.

• Preferred: Familiarity with co-packer or third-party manufacturing relationships.

• Preferred: Experience with order management or ERP systems.
