FTS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Deliver both on-site and remote technical assistance at customer and OEM locations across various packaging applications (e.g. VFFS, flow wrap, lidding, HFFS pouch, blister)

• Identify and resolve issues related to materials, machinery, and product interactions

• Provide comprehensive service reports and communicate actionable insights internally

• Assist with packaging trials from initial testing phases to full industrial scale-up

• Work collaboratively with R&D and clients to validate new products and ensure compatibility with existing machinery

• Collect and analyze critical technical data to expedite product development

• Lead troubleshooting initiatives for quality-related challenges, partnering cross-functionally with customers and internal teams

• Aid in root cause analysis, claim resolution, and reduction of business impact

• Play a role in generating new business opportunities by aiding in technical trials and customer onboarding

• Foster strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and internal stakeholders

• Offer technical expertise to facilitate specification changes, plant transfers, and business continuity efforts

• Organize your own schedule to align with customer and business priorities

• Monitor progress on trials and potential growth opportunities

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in engineering or a scientific field (or equivalent industry experience)

• 1–2+ years of experience within flexible packaging or packaging machinery sectors

• Solid understanding of converting processes and filling/packaging machinery

• Familiarity with packaging validation protocols

• Strong skills in technical troubleshooting and problem resolution

• Exceptional communication abilities with a customer-centric approach

• Capability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment

• High degree of organization, thoroughness, and attention to detail

• Proficiency in both French and English (knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous)

• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the region
