This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assess the quality, creativity, coherence, originality, adherence to prompts, and musical context of AI-generated lyrics.

• Detect awkward phrasing, repetitive writing, weak imagery, unnatural language, and stylistic inconsistencies.

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs and reference materials to evaluate similarity and originality.

• Analyze French vocabulary, slang, colloquial expressions, regional usage, cultural authenticity, and idiomatic naturalness.

• Review lyrics within their intended genres, musical styles, audience, tone, performance style, and vocal delivery context.

• Consistently apply evaluation guidelines across AI-generated outputs.

• Deliver clear ratings and well-structured written feedback.

• Identify recurring weaknesses in the model related to language, creativity, originality, and cultural nuance.

• Contribute specialized music and language knowledge to enhance generative AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in French.

• Strong ability to comprehend detailed written instructions in English.

• Professional background as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, music journalist, or a closely related music professional.

• In-depth knowledge of the French music scene.

• Excellent grasp of natural French phrasing, slang, idiomatic language, and cultural nuances.

• Strong analytical judgment in evaluating lyrical quality and originality.

• Access to headphones or studio monitors that are suitable for critical listening.

• Broad familiarity with contemporary French genres, sub-genres, and artists.

• Ability to work independently and apply detailed evaluation criteria consistently.

• Formal training in music performance, theory, composition, or songwriting is a plus.

• Credited or published songwriting work is highly valued.

• Candidates may be required to complete a French bilingual competency assessment during onboarding.
