French Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise, consecutive interpretation primarily within medical environments.

• Enable essential communication in social services and financial sectors.

• Initially concentrate on OPI, with a defined pathway for advancement into VRI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.

• English Proficiency: Required fluency at a minimum C1 level.

• Interpretation Certification: Candidates must successfully complete a terminology and interpreter skills evaluation during the hiring process.

• Core Skills: Full command of medical and customer service terminology is essential.

• Compliance: Candidates must currently possess, or be prepared to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

• Background Check: Willingness to undergo a standard background check via email is required.

• Technical & Workspace Requirements: Internet Connection: A hardwired Ethernet connection directly to your router is necessary (Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited). Hardware: A high-quality, noise-canceling USB headset is required. Computer Specs: Minimum requirements include Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM. Browser: The most recent versions of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge are needed. Workspace: A dedicated, quiet, and fully HIPAA-compliant work environment is essential.
