• Crafting swift, precise, and captivating news articles across Dexerto's primary areas of focus.

• Reporting on gaming, TV & Movies, anime, entertainment, food, social media, content creators, and viral internet phenomena.

• Discovering stories through social media, industry contacts, and trend analysis.

• Proposing original story ideas and features.

• Publishing and promoting articles on social media platforms, including X and Facebook.

• Creating social media copy that drives engagement and helps stories reach broader audiences.

• Collaborating closely with editors to ensure all content aligns with Dexerto's editorial standards.

• Contributing suggestions for headlines, angles, and follow-up stories.

• Assisting in identifying emerging trends before they become widely recognized.

• Proven experience in writing for a digital publication, website, newspaper, magazine, or a similar medium.

• Strong news judgment and an instinct for identifying stories that will connect with online audiences.

• Exceptional writing, research, and fact-checking abilities.

• A genuine passion for gaming, entertainment, social media, content creators, and online culture.

• A solid understanding of social media platforms and the dynamics of story dissemination online.

• Familiarity with platforms such as X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, and Reddit.

• Experience managing social media accounts for a publication is a plus.
