Freelance Video Editor, Motion Designer – AI-Native Action & Sci-Fi Streaming App

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop episodic and long-form cutdowns featuring cliffhanger conclusions.

• Produce dialogue trailers that include twist reveals, villain perspectives, power-scaling versus edits, lore revelations, and fight choreography montages.

• Create comment-overlay hook edits.

• Generate fan-edit style content, encompassing thirst traps, theory analyses, and trend-driven edits.

• Design streamer/reactor-cam reaction overlays.

• Craft “XL headline” trailers that incorporate social proof, such as rankings and trending mentions.

• Transform raw footage and AI-generated assets into eye-catching social ads and content.

• Establish a dependable ongoing freelance creative roster instead of completing isolated projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in short-form and vertical video editing (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, or similar).

• Capable of delivering finished edits within 1–3 days.

• Comfortable working across various content formats and styles within the same week.

• Familiarity with AI video generation tools (Runway, Kling, Sora, Pika, Luma, etc.) or a quick learner who is genuinely eager to master them.

• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, and the elements that compel viewers to stop scrolling within the first 1–2 seconds.

• Consistent communication and reliable file delivery skills (Frame.io, Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

• Background in action, anime, gaming, or superhero content/fandoms is a plus.

• Skills in motion graphics, VFX, or After Effects are advantageous.

• Experience with AI voice, image, or video tools beyond basic prompting is a bonus.

• Previous work on trailer cuts, dialogue edits, or reaction-style content is desirable.
