Freelance Shopify Shopbuilder - Webdesigner für Weinbranche

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• You will create Shopify stores for us in the frontend, adhering closely to our wireframe and theme framework.

• Work within a standardized approach: build based on a fixed wireframe and theme framework without reinventing the wheel for each project.

• Implement clean placeholder logic: avoid hard coding, create everything using editable Shopify fields, and work with placeholders until final approval.

• Set up shipping and checkout logic: correctly configure the 6-item rule, free shipping thresholds, and invoice payment options.

• Prepare for handover: document outstanding issues and placeholder lists thoroughly for PM, content, and IT.

⛳️ Requirements

• 20+ live Shopify stores built, ideally in the wine, food, or lifestyle sectors.

• Basic understanding of Liquid, along with experience in neatly configurable sections and blocks as part of your daily routine.

• Proficient in using Git and GitHub, familiar with branches, commits, and pull requests while maintaining clean versioning of your theme code.

• You have a mindset focused on trust signals, social proof, and the customer journey from a new customer’s perspective.

• Process and time discipline: you operate within set parameters, adhere to timelines, and consistently build towards defined done criteria.

• Scope awareness: you can identify when requirements exceed the fixed price and report this early on.

• AI affinity: you are proficient in working with Claude.
