Freelance Project – Generative AI Product Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Support Wikimedia Deutschland in delineating the product landscape of challenges and opportunities related to Open Data, Open Governance, and Open Source in the context of the advancing generative AI ecosystem.

• Inspire and guide WMDE and partners towards successful project outcomes.

• Perform analysis of key stakeholders, interdependencies, concepts, and current processes.

• Evaluate results for their significance concerning collaboration, product development, and funding prospects.

• Formulate Wikimedia’s strategic position on the stewardship and repurposing of open datasets.

• Knowledge of Open Source, Data, & Governance.

• Understanding of the Generative AI Product Landscape.

• Experience with AI Projects designed for and by the Global Majority.

• Proven track record in working with diverse global projects and groups.
