This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver exceptional phlebotomy services to clients in Bristol and nearby regions.
• Conduct blood tests during scheduled home visits as an independent practitioner, utilizing telephone and mobile app assistance.
• Consult with senior colleagues or the Heim Clinical team for guidance when situations exceed your expertise, knowledge, or responsibilities.
• Ensure timely posting or delivery of domiciliary blood samples to the hub for courier collection.
• Record blood tests performed in patients' medical records.
• Notify the Heim Clinical team of any identified risks, such as unsafe environmental conditions.
• Adhere to company protocols, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize digital mobile tools for coordinating tasks and documenting patient notes.
• Foster a safe and healthy workplace by reporting incidents or near misses.
• Uphold patient and carer confidentiality and privacy.
• Act as a vital member of the phlebotomy team and participate in relevant meetings.
• Maintain compliance with necessary training and engage in development and appraisal processes.
• At least 12 months of experience in phlebotomy.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure regarding convictions (adult).
• Personal professional indemnity insurance, with proof required.
• Two references, including at least one from recent employment.
• A full driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in English is necessary.
• Willingness to travel and work primarily in patients' homes or community settings.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent phlebotomy services for a minimum of six months.
• Capacity to work independently with telephone and mobile app support.
• Familiarity with using digital mobile tools for job coordination and patient note recording.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and policies, including equal opportunities, health and safety, and confidentiality.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Registration with the NMC, Phlebotomy National Register, or an equivalent is required in the application process.
