Freelance Localization Specialist – All languages

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Translate, review, and modify content for KAYAK’s products and assets, customized for the target audience.

• Follow our style guides to produce high-quality translations and innovative transcriptions.

• Translate and proofread content across various platforms, including landing pages, blogs, newsletters, SEO content, social media, and other marketing materials.

• Perform LQA and functionality assessments to connect with the local audience.

• Develop and update language-specific resources such as style guides and glossaries.

• Expect an initially lighter workload, with potential for greater involvement in future projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in the target language (required).

• Strong verbal and written proficiency in English.

• Demonstrated experience in website/app localization and translation.

• Familiarity with Translation Management Systems.

• A talent for creative translation and copywriting.

• Knowledge of SEO practices.

• Experience in LQA.

• Relevant academic or professional qualifications in communication, marketing, translation, linguistics, or related fields.

• You are a quick learner, forward-thinking, and comfortable integrating the latest technology in a fast-evolving industry.

• You are a flexible multitasker, skilled at managing workflows, information, and processes across various project types.
