Freelance Graphic Designer – Title Treatment Localization, Norwegian/Danish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Accountable for reproducing English title images (logos) in your native language.

• Crafting visually engaging and culturally suitable localized titles and logos for television programs and films.

• Developing both 2D and 3D graphics from the ground up based on thorough specifications and briefs.

• Offering expert advice on effective designs tailored for the target audience.

• Overseeing the workflow using JIRA, the project management tool.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native speaker of the target language: Norwegian or Danish.

• In-depth understanding of cultural subtleties and design preferences.

• At least 3 years of experience in graphic design and typography.

• Proficiency in working with various language scripts (e.g., CJK, Cyrillic, Arabic) and their layout complexities.

• Knowledge of text expansion/contraction and its effects on spacing and legibility.

• Familiarity with right-to-left (RTL) and vertical text layouts for languages like Arabic, Hebrew, and Japanese.

• Required skills: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and JIRA (access will be provided).

• A stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 2 Mbps both up and down (4 Mbps preferred).

• Competence in 3D modeling and texturing using Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D.

• Experience with localized fonts and scripts in a 3D environment.

• Knowledge of rendering engines such as V-Ray, Arnold, Redshift, or Eevee.

• Strong grasp of UV mapping and texturing processes for localized title assets.

• Capability to manage 3D file formats including FBX, OBJ, and GLTF.

• Ability to modify and redesign iconography to fit various cultural contexts.

• Exceptional attention to detail in preserving brand consistency across localized assets.
