This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Identify, isolate, document, and resolve any localization or linguistic issues while verifying corrections using testing tools or databases.
• Adhere to and complete Test Cases and Checklists to conduct focused testing and execute pertinent testing processes and procedures.
• Draft bug reports in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
• Utilize knowledge of user preferences in the Target Market to influence the client’s product effectively.
• Actively seek out gaps in test coverage.
• Collaborate with partner teams to test the product thoroughly.
• Provide constructive insights on gameplay, enjoyment, and game balance based on an understanding of the target market.
• Perform any additional tasks deemed appropriate for the position.
• A regular gamer with a passion for the video game industry.
• Native proficiency in English and Thai (the testing language), including outstanding spelling and grammar.
• Strong command of both English and Thai, as instructions, testing documentation, and team communications will be conducted in these languages.
• Experience in Gaming LQA.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a degree in computer science, game design, or a related discipline is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a solid work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with digital technologies (mobile devices, tablets, browser tools, etc.).
• Ability to function effectively within a team environment.
• A driven, positive demeanor, with the capacity to excel and deliver in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative setting.
• Readiness to start immediately.
• Experience in Game Testing.
• Background in software localization or quality assurance, or a similar position in the video game or related industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of various testing methodologies.
• Experience in game localization.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Mantis, ADO, Bugzilla, etc.) or CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, etc.).
