Freelance Game LQA Tester, English to Simplified Chinese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Identify, isolate, document, and resolve any localization or linguistic issues, verifying fixes through the use of testing tools or databases.

• Follow and complete Test Cases and Checklists to conduct targeted testing and execute the necessary testing processes and procedures.

• Write bug descriptions that adhere to company standards and meet client specifications.

• Leverage knowledge of user preferences within the Target Market to influence the client's product offerings.

• Actively seek out gaps in test coverage.

• Collaborate with partner teams during the product testing phase.

• Provide constructive feedback regarding gameplay, enjoyment, and game balance based on insights into the target market.

• Undertake any additional tasks deemed suitable for the position.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Simplified Chinese (the testing language), with exceptional spelling and grammar.

• Strong command of both English and Simplified Chinese (instructions, testing documentation, and team communications will be conducted in English).

• Experience in Gaming LQA.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• Demonstrated attention to detail, a proactive “can-do” attitude, and a strong work ethic.

• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

• Basic familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.

• Understanding of digital technologies (including mobile devices, tablets, and browser tools).

• Ability to function effectively within a team environment.

• A drive, positive attitude, and capability to excel and deliver results in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative setting.
