Freelance Game LQA Tester, English to Malay

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Identify, isolate, document, and resolve any localization or linguistic issues, confirming fixes through the use of testing tools or databases.

• Adhere to and complete Test Cases and Checklists to conduct focused testing and implement relevant testing processes and procedures.

• Compose bug reports in accordance with company standards and client requirements.

• Utilize knowledge of user preferences in the Target Market to shape the client's product offerings.

• Actively seek out gaps in test coverage.

• Collaborate with partner teams during the product testing phase.

• Provide constructive insights on gameplay, enjoyment, and game balance based on an understanding of the target market.

• Fulfill all other responsibilities deemed relevant to the position.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Malay (the testing language), with outstanding spelling and grammar skills.

• Strong command of Simplified Chinese and English (instructions, testing documentation, and team communications will primarily be in English).

• Experience in Gaming LQA.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in computer science, game design, or a related field is highly advantageous.

• Exceptional attention to detail, a “can-do” mindset, and a strong work ethic.

• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.

• Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

• Familiarity with digital technologies (mobile, tablets, browser tools, etc.).

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• A proactive attitude, enthusiasm, and capability to excel and deliver in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative setting.
