Freelance Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create tone of voice and verbal identity guidelines for rebranding and new brand initiatives.

• Craft paid advertising copy and social media captions across various brands and formats.

• Develop campaign copy from initial brief to final deliverables.

• Produce trade marketing copy, including packaging text, shelf talkers, sell sheets, and retailer assets.

• Compile reports, presentations, and pitch decks.

• Adhere to tone of voice guidelines and ensure consistency across all communication touchpoints.

• Manage timelines and deadlines for multiple brands concurrently.

• Contribute copywriting efforts to Brand Hackers projects as new briefs are presented.

• Collaborate with teams focused on strategic foundations, brand development, and campaign execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of essential copywriting principles: rhythm, clarity, structure, and tone.

• Capability to write in alignment with a brand's tone of voice and style guide.

• Willingness and ability to adapt skills from brand development to detailed campaign execution.

• Familiarity with writing within space and format constraints, including headlines, packaging text, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, and character limits.

• Keen eye for editing both personal and others' writing.

• Proficient in transforming a rough brief into polished first-draft copy efficiently.

• Portfolio showcasing authentic strategic thinking is essential.

• Open-mindedness to receive feedback combined with the confidence to assertively express differing opinions when necessary.

• A portfolio link or a selection of work samples is mandatory; applications lacking a portfolio will not be considered.
