This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Develop stylized character models based on approved concept artwork.
• Create high-quality sculptures of characters utilizing ZBrush.
• Construct clean, production-ready topology suitable for rigging.
• Design clothing, accessories, and intricate character details.
• Prepare assets for workflows in Maya and Unreal Engine.
• Implement revisions in response to creative feedback.
• Provide organized files that are ready for production.
• Demonstrated experience in creating clean, animation-ready topology through effective retopology of character faces, bodies, and clothing.
• Advanced sculpting capabilities with a focus on producing high-quality, stylized characters using ZBrush.
• Strong box modeling abilities for crafting character clothing and garments from concept art.
• Knowledge of the significance of custom UVs for high-resolution characters to preserve detail in close-ups while ensuring efficiency for distant shots.
• Solid understanding of character modeling workflows intended for rigging in Maya and deployment in Unreal Engine.
• Proficiency in either Maya or Blender.
• Skill in accurately interpreting concept art and transforming it into high-quality 3D character models.
• In-depth knowledge of anatomy, proportions, form, and silhouette specific to stylized characters.
• Capacity to work effectively while upholding high quality standards and meeting production timelines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond constructively to creative and technical feedback.
