This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-level assistance to partners and internal teams concerning the transaction fraud prevention workflow.

• Oversee the chargeback dispute process by addressing operational inquiries and managing overdue cases.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of current rules.

• Suggest modifications, ongoing enhancements, and data-driven experiments aimed at minimizing false positives and losses.

• Investigate inconsistencies in facial biometric verification.

• Make determinations on whether cases should be approved, denied, or escalated.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be available to work 40 hours per week.

• Proven experience in fraud prevention within financial operations.

• Background in analyzing cases and making risk/fraud decisions (approval, denial, or escalation), while maintaining focus on controls and compliance.

• Familiarity with high-volume operational tasks and regulated timelines (SLAs), such as support queues, back-office functions, or case evaluations.

• Experience in fintechs, digital banks, and/or payment companies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Knowledge of dispute/chargeback processes and identity verification (KYC/biometrics).

• Understanding of payment industry regulations (BACEN, card networks, etc.).

• Proficient in advanced Excel skills.

• Familiar with SQL and/or BI tools (Metabase or similar).

• Certifications in Compliance, AML/KYC, or Fraud Prevention (CFE or similar).

• Possess an analytical, logical, and investigative mindset.

• Strong organizational and self-management capabilities.

• Ability to handle multiple workstreams and meet concurrent deadlines.

• Assertive communication skills.

• Demonstrates critical thinking and autonomy.
