Fraud Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee real-time transactions and other customer activities flagged for potential fraud and abuse, ensuring they undergo manual review.

• Conduct investigations on individual transactions by applying internal policies and review methodologies to assess their legitimacy.

• Gain a thorough understanding of our systems and tools; analyze account patterns through data assessment.

• Research fraud and user behavior to aid in the development of machine learning models, rules, and other detection systems.

• Work collaboratively with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineering teams to enhance our fraud prevention strategies, processes, and tools.

• Acquire and maintain a robust understanding of the fraud landscape, including prevention techniques and technologies.

• Achieve or surpass established service level agreements (SLAs) for the prompt resolution of queued cases to mitigate potential losses.

• Address escalations from both internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in investigating and resolving fraud incidents.

• Proficient in data analysis and comfortable making significant decisions in a fast-paced and occasionally ambiguous environment.

• Strong attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision post-training.

• Willingness to work during holidays.

• Proven experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is essential; candidates must be adept at utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.
