Fraud Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Identify and address fraudulent activities on cardholder accounts.

• Recommend enhancements to policies and procedures aimed at reducing risk.

• Address intricate cardholder questions related to fraud issues.

• Oversee case inventory, incoming communications, and emails while adhering to SLA.

• Perform daily evaluations and analyses of suspected fraudulent activities and conduct thorough risk assessments.

• Stay informed about best practices, methods, and technologies related to fraud.

• Provide suggestions to encourage optimal utilization and acceptance of fraud prevention techniques.

• Work in conjunction with team members, vendors, and other departments to pinpoint fraud vulnerabilities, methods, and trends.

• Organize fraud-related processes and strategies.

• Test, implement, and evaluate strategies, models, and systems designed to detect, prevent, investigate, and mitigate fraud.

• Collaborate with colleagues on fraud cases, exchange best practices and risk trends, and contribute insights on risk mitigation tactics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in card fraud, investigations, AML, operational risk, or equivalent fields.

• Strong background in customer service and experience in customer-facing roles.

• At least 2 years of experience in monitoring and conducting verification checks for potential fraudulent activity on accounts.

• Comprehensive understanding of the complete fraud cycle.

• Familiarity with investigative procedures and processes utilizing fraud detection software and tools.

• Extensive operational experience and knowledge of banking policies, regulations, and procedures.

• Excellent written and presentation skills.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic production environment.

• Candidate must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies governed by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
