Fraud Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and analyze high-risk transactions

• Detect unusual patterns in customer behavior

• Supervise activities across various payment gateways

• Establish protocols for risk mitigation

• Manage sensitive customer interactions with care

• Perform confidential account assessments

• Address complicated situations while ensuring customer satisfaction

• Maintain standards of community trust

• Aid in enhancing fraud prevention systems

• Record and revise internal security procedures

• Spot weaknesses in existing fraud prevention strategies

• Suggest improvements to processes

• Keep thorough documentation of fraud cases

• Ensure compliance with internal policies

• Produce and evaluate fraud prevention metrics

• Work collaboratively with team members on risk assessments

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in customer experience or related fields

• Demonstrated success in fraud analysis or risk management

• Background in the e-commerce or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector

• Proven capability to handle sensitive information discreetly

• Strong analytical skills and ability to recognize patterns

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail

• Strong communication and empathy skills

• Capability to work independently with good judgment

• Experience with various payment gateway systems

• Computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor or higher

• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS

• Headset with an extended microphone, noise cancellation, and a webcam

• Backup computer and internet connection

• Quiet, dedicated home workspace

• Reliable internet connection

• Personal computer with Intel Core i5 or equivalent or better operating system

• Availability to work during US business hours

• Willingness to be available on weekends for urgent matters
