Fraud Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and analyze high-risk transactions.

• Detect suspicious trends in customer behavior.

• Oversee activities across various payment gateways.

• Establish protocols for risk mitigation.

• Manage sensitive customer interactions with a high level of discretion.

• Perform confidential account assessments.

• Address complex scenarios while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Maintain community trust standards.

• Aid in enhancing fraud prevention systems.

• Document and revise internal security measures.

• Identify deficiencies in existing fraud prevention strategies.

• Suggest improvements to processes.

• Keep comprehensive records of fraud incidents.

• Guarantee compliance with internal policies.

• Produce and evaluate fraud prevention metrics.

• Collaborate with colleagues on risk assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in customer experience or related positions.

• Demonstrated success in fraud analysis or risk management.

• Background in the e-commerce or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.

• Proven capability to manage sensitive information with care.

• Strong analytical skills and pattern recognition abilities.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy.

• Ability to work independently with sound judgment.

• Familiarity with multiple payment gateway systems.

• Access to a computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor or better.

• Internet connection with a minimum speed of 40MBPS.

• Headset with a noise-canceling microphone and a webcam.

• Availability of a backup computer and internet connection.

• A quiet and dedicated workspace at home.

• Reliable internet access.

• Own a computer with an Intel Core i5 or comparable or higher operating system.

• Availability during US Business Hours (specific schedule to be determined).

• Willingness to work occasional weekends for urgent issues.
