Fraud Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and analyze high-risk transactions.

• Detect suspicious trends in customer behavior.

• Oversee activities across various payment gateways.

• Establish and execute risk-mitigation strategies.

• Manage sensitive customer communications with confidentiality.

• Perform confidential reviews of accounts.

• Resolve intricate issues while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Maintain standards to uphold community trust.

• Assist in enhancing fraud prevention systems.

• Record and refresh internal security procedures.

• Spot deficiencies in existing fraud prevention strategies.

• Suggest enhancements to processes.

• Keep thorough documentation of fraud cases.

• Guarantee compliance with internal policies.

• Generate and evaluate metrics related to fraud prevention.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues on risk assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in customer service or related fields.

• Demonstrated success in fraud analysis or risk management.

• Background in the e-commerce or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.

• Proven ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.

• Strong skills in analysis and pattern detection.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Strong communication and empathetic skills.

• Capacity to work independently with sound judgment.

• Familiarity with several payment gateway systems.

• Computer equipped with a minimum of 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 core processor or AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and above.

• Internet connection with a minimum speed of 40MBPS.

• Headset with noise-canceling capabilities and a webcam.

• Backup computer and alternative internet connection.

• Quiet and dedicated home workspace.

• Reliable internet access.

• Personal computer with Intel Core i5 or a comparable system.

• Availability to work during US business hours.

• Willingness to be available on weekends for urgent matters.
