Fractional Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, oversee, and provide outstanding tax services

• Act as a trusted business consultant focused on maximizing and achieving qualitative results

• Uphold the firm's vision, mission, operational values, and strategic plan

• Create a growth-centric, positive, and supportive workplace

• Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and international tax regulations

• Develop innovative tax planning approaches and assess complex income tax returns

• Manage and coordinate tax audits, collaborating closely with relevant internal stakeholders

• Stay updated on current and upcoming changes to tax laws

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure precise tax balances on General Ledgers

• Support accounting and various special projects

• Work with the administrative team to manage and protect all information data requests from clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance

• Over 5 years of experience in tax-related roles

• Proven track record as a Tax Manager or in a similar position within public accounting or corporate settings

• In-depth understanding of state, federal, and international tax laws and regulations

• Proficiency in offering tax planning and reviewing intricate returns for both individuals and businesses

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on managing and nurturing a team

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and advisory capabilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey processes and strategies effectively to diverse stakeholders

• Experience in client engagement, particularly in managing workflows and setting expectations for service delivery

• Familiarity with frameworks such as the 4 Cs (Clear, Concise, Collaborative, Continuous) in operational contexts is advantageous

• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to handle competing priorities efficiently.
