FP&A Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain monthly financial tracking across the organization.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the upcoming 12-24 months.

• Evaluate spending patterns and aid leadership in understanding financial flows and future projections.

• Facilitate analysis related to pricing and support informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with bookkeeping and accounting teams to ensure financial data is accurate, comprehensive, and suitable for planning purposes.

• Identify discrepancies, gaps, or trends in financial data and investigate them until resolved.

• Structure financial information into clear outputs for internal decision-making processes.

• Provide leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and planning support as needed.

• Contribute to enhancing overall financial visibility and discipline within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, finance, financial analysis, or a related field.

• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.

• High level of expertise in Google Sheets AND Excel.

• Keen attention to detail and ability to recognize patterns.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software and adept at navigating financial data from these systems.

• Comfortable managing ambiguity and working with incomplete information.

• Capable of investigating discrepancies and ensuring that figures reconcile appropriately.

• Effective communicator who can present financial information in a structured and decision-relevant manner.

• Able to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.

• Strong sense of ownership and independent problem-solving skills.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting pricing decisions.

• Preferred: Experience in startups, high-growth environments, or lean teams.

• Preferred: Experience working closely with bookkeeping and accounting teams.

• Preferred: Experience in establishing financial planning processes from the ground up.
