This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist with the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
• Develop and enhance comprehensive financial models that project and evaluate functional costs to fully comprehend variance sources and ultimately enhance forecast precision.
• Facilitate in-quarter review sessions focusing on budget adjustments, ensuring the organization can adapt to short-term budget surpluses or deficits, including the creation and maintenance of KPIs across all organizational facets.
• Generate monthly and quarterly management reports - assess financial outcomes, extract and summarize key trends, evaluate present and future business risks, and convey essential insights to senior management.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with cross-departmental teams to gather and integrate updates regarding discrepancies in actual procurement activities compared to budget forecasts.
• Assist executive management by delivering timely ad hoc reports on significant issues.
• Immerse yourself with business partners throughout the company, fostering trust, building relationships, and acquiring a thorough understanding of the relevant drivers.
• Over 5 years of pertinent finance experience is preferred, with a strong preference for SaaS experience.
• Experience in building adaptive insights models.
• Strong capabilities in financial and operational planning.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, with a focus on collaborating with various business leaders.
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with a track record of developing and delivering impactful presentations.
• Proficiency in constructing Excel-based financial models, emphasizing data aggregation and analysis to yield actionable insights.
• Capacity to effectively multitask, thriving in team settings or working independently.
• A four-year university degree in finance, economics, or accounting is required; an MBA is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, etc. is advantageous.
