This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Assist in the financial planning process across the company, including long-term strategy, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance reconciliation against actual results.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with a diverse array of key stakeholders and business partners, serving as a primary contact for Finance.
• Lead financial forecasts at the business unit and functional levels that accurately predict business performance, enabling management to achieve desired outcomes.
• Participate in the advancement and development of FP&A processes, systems, and reporting to enhance visibility and accountability, thereby increasing the operating leverage for the business.
• Aid in strategic business decisions, both short and long-term, through financial modeling and analysis of investment opportunities.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• BA/BS degree in a quantitative field, with over 7 years of progressive experience in corporate finance and operational roles.
• Proven experience in constructing strategic financial models that convert operational initiatives into financial outcomes, collaborating across functions with business partners to validate assumptions, and effectively presenting complex analyses to senior management.
• Background in implementing, managing, or optimizing FP&A planning systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Planful) — including the configuration of dimensions (business unit, department, entity/currency) for flexible P&L reporting, managing scenario/version control, and structuring data models that integrate into financial statements.
• Experience in creating reporting materials for C-suite and Board-level presentations — translating complex financial information into clear, audience-appropriate narratives and insights that link performance drivers to business impact and support executive decision-making.
• Strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity; ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations through business models and reporting.
• A proactive attitude towards risk mitigation and managing cross-functional alignment during organizational changes.
• Willingness and experience in utilizing AI to enhance efficiency in work processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Salary Range = 126k - 176k USD - (Actual salary offered will differ based on location and market conditions.)
