This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.
• Construct and uphold comprehensive financial models to aid in business planning and strategy development.
• Create strong, defensible forecasts that assist executives in navigating potential future outcomes.
• Persistently explore improved methods to model and assess business performance.
• Perform variance analysis and delve deeper than accounting data to uncover underlying causes.
• Ensure data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and recommend necessary corrections.
• Examine company-wide data to reveal significant trends and opportunities.
• Develop templates for tracking KPIs and performance metrics throughout the organization.
• Execute ad-hoc financial analyses to meet cross-functional requirements.
• Provide support to senior leadership with insights on market dynamics and competitive analysis.
• Address financial data inquiries from cross-functional teams.
• Contribute significantly to investor communications and due diligence efforts.
• Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English, with outstanding communication capabilities (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in Financial Planning & Analysis or a related field. Previous experience in investment banking or consulting is highly advantageous.
• Education: A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel and Google Sheets, along with familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools being a plus.
• Mindset & Approach: Methodical and detail-oriented, possessing strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while proactively solving problems. Comfortable in fast-paced, data-intensive environments.
