FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.

• Generate monthly financial reports, including insights and suggestions for the leadership team.

• Perform variance analysis by comparing actual outcomes with budget/forecast, identifying performance drivers, and recommending corrective measures.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

• Work alongside business leaders on initiatives related to the FP&A team.

• Analyze results and offer decision-support insights for investment and cost-saving initiatives.

• Identify and report on key metrics to ensure accountability throughout the organization, including metrics for Quarterly Board Reporting.

• Partner with HR in the requisition process to manage personnel headcount and costs effectively.

• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication.

• Collaborate with Sales to create financial models and evaluate pricing for new business and renewals.

• Review quarterly SLA and Bad Debt reserves.

• Assist with detailed cash flow and balance sheet projections, providing support to the treasury team as necessary.

• Support senior finance leadership (Finance Manager/Director, VP of Finance, CFO, and executive team) in making critical financial decisions.

• Utilize approved AI tools to improve efficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and documentation while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Over 2 years of progressive experience in financial analysis.

• Proven experience in conducting variance analysis and presenting insights to leadership.

• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Strong financial modeling capabilities and advanced proficiency in Excel.

• A collaborative business partner skilled at fostering cross-functional relationships.
