This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with key and strategic foundries, serving as their main point of contact and linking them with Monotype's network of support functions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate seamless onboarding, ensure licensing compliance, and maximize merchandising effectiveness.
• Collect feedback to enhance the partner experience continuously, advocate for tooling or content requirements, and identify obstacles to scaling.
• Assess and report partner success, opportunities, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with global Experience, Legal, Product, and Marketing teams to enhance the foundry experience and create mutual value.
• Travel internationally (primarily within EMEA) to meet with partners directly, fostering relationships and representing Monotype at pertinent industry events and professional networks.
• Become a subject matter expert (SME) in Monotype’s business objectives, strategies, and other essential themes to facilitate strategic discussions with partners.
• Connect partners with other SMEs in areas such as Royalties, Legal, and Product for additional support.
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with experience in utilizing and enhancing CRM systems to monitor partner relationships and opportunities.
• 5-10 years of proven experience in partnerships or business development, ideally within design, media, or IP-focused sectors.
• Strong empathy and a passion for collaborating with individuals in creative industries.
• Excellent negotiation abilities and a successful track record in closing high-value or strategic deals.
• Capable of working independently, demonstrating strong initiative and strategic thinking.
• Openness to learning about a new industry and the discernment to recognize when to act as an SME and when to involve another SME.
• Interest in creative fields, including art, typography, and design.
• Proficiency in an additional language, such as French or German, is a plus.
