This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete delivery of AI training projects, starting from initial customer scoping to successful execution.
• Evaluate feasibility, timelines, operational requirements, pricing inputs, and project risks.
• Create and implement sourcing strategies for specialized contributor populations.
• Utilize UserTesting’s network, external recruiting channels, partner collaborations, and innovative sourcing methods.
• Recruit, onboard, and oversee contributor communities.
• Design scalable workflows that encompass onboarding, task distribution, contributor communications, quality assurance, escalations, and delivery.
• Monitor recruiting progress, activation, throughput, quality, cost, and retention metrics.
• Proactively modify plans to ensure successful project results.
• Balance sourcing strategies, contributor compensation, staffing, quality expectations, and delivery timelines.
• Act as the primary customer contact throughout the project delivery process.
• Translate changing requirements into clear guidance for contributors.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs in a transparent manner.
• Establish repeatable processes, scalable systems, and operational capabilities to foster growth in the AI Training business.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in operations, strategic programs, consulting, AI training, marketplaces, expert networks, talent platforms, data operations, or similarly fast-paced environments.
• Proven track record managing projects that involve large groups of contractors, contributors, participants, experts, or other external workforces.
• Strong preference for experience in AI training or human data organizations.
• Excellent project management and analytical capabilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities, model project performance, monitor operational metrics, and comprehend project economics.
• Demonstrated ownership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to excel in ambiguous situations, develop processes from scratch, and balance detailed execution with strategic insight.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in direct customer partnerships and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with AI training concepts such as annotation, evaluations, quality assurance, reinforcement learning environments, expert data, or post-training workflows is preferred.
• Must be remote within the United States, with the ability to work primarily within U.S. time zones.
