This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the technical narrative for all enterprise agreements, starting from the initial discovery call and continuing through security evaluations, integration design, and go-live phases.
• Create custom integration architectures tailored for complex merchant-built checkouts, primarily focusing on direct API integration with advanced, bespoke commerce systems.
• Conduct live proof of concepts, sandbox demonstrations, and integration walkthroughs that facilitate the closing of six- and seven-figure deals.
• Establish a structured feedback loop with product and engineering teams, consolidating insights on enterprise prospect needs, identifying areas where we fall short on capabilities, and determining future strategic investments.
• Produce reusable enablement materials, such as reference architectures, integration playbooks, security and compliance briefs, and ROI models to enhance the GTM team’s effectiveness.
• Ensure a seamless transition to customer success and engineering teams for post-sale implementation efforts.
• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years focused on enterprise sales.
• Proven track record in managing the technical aspects of complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving a CTO, CISO, head of e-commerce, and procurement team, all collaborating in the same communication channel.
• Ability to interpret API documentation, sketch integration concepts on a whiteboard, and deliver a functioning proof of concept when required, all without needing an engineer present for technical credibility.
• A strong preference for backgrounds in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or healthtech; experience with HSA/FSA, benefits, or regulated payments is a significant advantage.
• Experience establishing reliable feedback channels with product organizations that engineers genuinely trust, rather than merely forwarding customer emails.
• Excellent writing skills, capable of crafting clear follow-ups, concise architecture diagrams, and briefs that executives can digest in 90 seconds.
• Comfortable navigating the early-stage startup environment; prior experience at a seed or Series A/B company is essential, along with an understanding of what being "first in the seat" entails.
• Significant equity as part of the founding team.
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
• Unlimited paid time off and sick days.
• Paid parental leave policy.
• A remote-first work environment, complemented by quarterly in-person gatherings. Anticipate approximately 25% travel for prospect meetings, partner discussions, and industry events.
