This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ External representation β You will serve as the public face of Adapt at conferences, podcasts, webinars, LinkedIn, and analyst briefings. When the industry seeks insights on dynamic pricing, you will be the voice they hear.
β’ Distinctive narrative β You will clarify how Adapt stands out from competitors β not through vague marketing language, but by highlighting specific instances where other tools fall short for real operators. You have experienced these challenges and know how to convey that narrative.
β’ Customer operations β You will oversee the customer experience for Adapt, developing the onboarding playbook, customer success strategies, and the mechanisms that enhance NPS and retention. You will engage hands-on with our beta customers initially to identify effective strategies, subsequently building a team to scale these efforts.
β’ Product collaboration β You will create and manage a structured feedback mechanism from customers to data science and product teams. Instead of merely forwarding emails, you will establish a system that transforms customer feedback into product priorities.
β’ Team development β You will recruit your first Customer Success/onboarding lead within approximately six months and continue to expand the team as Adapt grows.
β’ Content partnership with the Chief Economist β You will collaborate with our Chief Economist, Marketing, and Product teams to produce and promote content that positions Adapt effectively β contextualizing research, translating it into practical language for operators, and assisting the broader team in telling a more compelling story.
β’ Practitioner experience β You have over 7 years of experience pricing real STR inventory, whether at a property management company with more than 20 units, as a revenue management consultant across various portfolios, or as a Solutions Consultant or Revenue Manager at a competitor ready for the next career progression.
β’ Competitive insight β You can identify specific instances where competitors have underperformed for you or a client, and you are prepared to discuss your responses to those situations.
β’ Public engagement β You either have a voice within the STR community or are eager to establish one. Bonus points for an existing following on LinkedIn, participation in panels or podcasts, or a newsletter or content series. If you're new to the limelight, that's perfectly fine β you'll have support from AirDNA's marketing team and platform.
β’ Perspective on the category β You possess a clear understanding of what "autonomous pricing" entails, how it differs from "better recommendations," and why that distinction is significant for operators.
β’ Player-coach mentality β You thrive in roles where you wear multiple hats β conducting demos, assisting with onboarding, managing occasional support tickets, or creating competitive one-pagers. A team will come later, but you are confident in making things happen independently in the meantime.
β’ Self-motivation β You excel when reporting to non-traditional managers (such as founders, GMs, Chief Economists, or product leaders) and do not require daily oversight to perform your best work. You set your own productive rhythm.
β’ AI proficiency β You utilize AI tools daily and operate at 2β3 times the speed of someone who doesnβt. You have developed workflows in Claude, GPT, or similar tools for customer research, content drafts, competitive analysis, or internal processes. You leverage AI to enhance your thinking, not as a substitute for it.
β’ Willingness to travel β You are open to attending 5β10 industry conferences annually, along with occasional trips to AirDNA offices located in NYC, Denver, or Barcelona.
