Founding Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of product-critical features from the database schema and backend APIs to frontend/mobile integration.

• Enhance our React Native application, backend systems, and technical infrastructure.

• Incorporate logistics, geolocation, routing, and real-time data into a product that drivers utilize daily.

• Collaborate closely with founders, engineering teams, customers, and drivers to transform real-world challenges into dependable product solutions.

• Act swiftly, take initiative, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with TypeScript / Node and a related testing framework (such as Jest).

• Strong background in React / React Native, preferably with Expo.

• Solid understanding of backend systems, API integrations, and data modeling.

• Prior experience in high-velocity software teams, ideally within a startup, scale-up, or product-oriented engineering environment, is advantageous.

• Practical experience in utilizing AI tools as an integral part of your daily activities.

• Interest in mobile development, logistics, geolocation data, or automation.

• Self-directed working style with a commitment to producing reliable software.

• Bonus: experience with mobile applications, routing/maps, real-time data, cloud infrastructure, or LLM/voice features.
