Forward Deployed Engineer – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gain insights into current workflows, challenges, and operational hurdles.

• Assess existing systems, processes, and integrations to identify potential areas for automation and enhancement.

• Design and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance talent operations and support data-driven decision-making.

• Create integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms utilizing APIs and workflow automation tools.

• Establish technical architectures, minimum viable products (MVPs), and implementation roadmaps for new projects.

• Develop internal tools and operational platforms that facilitate streamlined talent management processes.

• Prototype and implement solutions involving large language models (LLMs), agents, recommendation systems, and workflow automation where suitable.

• Take ownership of projects from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to delivery and iteration.

• Offer technical guidance and recommendations regarding emerging AI technologies and automation possibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in Python development.

• Experience in integrating third-party systems via APIs.

• Proven experience in building AI-enabled applications using LLMs.

• Ability to leverage AI/LLM technologies to address business challenges and enhance operational workflows.

• Direct experience working with business stakeholders to translate their needs into technical solutions.

• Experience in designing and developing internal tools, workflow automation solutions, or operational platforms.

• Excellent communication and consulting skills.

• Capacity to thrive in highly ambiguous environments.

• Proficient in SQL and data modeling.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience leading technical discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design processes.

• Practical experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or AWS Bedrock.

• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.

• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.

• Background in building recommendation engines or matching systems.

• Exposure to agentic AI workflows and autonomous agents.

• Experience integrating with platforms like Airtable, Lever ATS, or similar tools.

• A background in recruiting, talent management, or HR technology.

• Understanding of data pipelines.

• Ability to define MVPs and technical architectures.
