
Forward-Deployed Engineer – Software Engineer w/ Front-End Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia.
• Serve as the front-end authority on the Internal Efficiencies team, working closely with engineers, data scientists, solution/product specialists, and customer success leaders to achieve user/customer objectives.
• Participate in defining front-end deliverables from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards.
• Utilize agentic AI tools daily to enhance code delivery and increase productivity.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all members of the Internal Efficiencies team, as well as engineering subject-matter experts throughout Viaduct.
• Collaborate with customer success and solution/product team members to identify user/customer requirements and convert them into actionable analytics solutions.
• Meet deliverable expectations with quality and efficiency, adding new features to solutions and products, refactoring code, enhancing tests, automating manual processes, and managing other engineering responsibilities.
• Remain informed about the latest trends and technologies, applying them to enhance our software.
• Proven experience managing a project from design to implementation.
• A minimum of 3 years working as a full-time engineer.
• Proficiency in Typescript and React.
• Comfortable in exploring and addressing questions using data and SQL.
• Experience utilizing agentic AI tools for code delivery (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: (a) managing state and creating reusable components in React, (b) knowledge of industry-standard React component libraries, and/or (c) experience in building user interfaces for analytics applications.
• Fluency in Business English and ability to work effectively in an international environment across various geographies and time zones.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science).
