Software Engineer III – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain robust and scalable web applications utilizing React, Redux (RTK Toolkit), and Vite.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our data visualization platforms and portals.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to software development best practices.

• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to guarantee the quality of the codebase.

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and testing RESTful APIs for data processing and management.

• Engage in agile development methodologies and contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, offering guidance on best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborate with teammates to translate desired functionalities into implementation plans and ultimately into operational software; clarify ambiguous situations.

• Diagnose and resolve complex software issues, identifying and implementing solutions promptly.

• Possess a keen eye for detail and an ability to enhance subtle interactions and fine points that influence user experience.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining a focus on human oversight.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in full-stack web development and integrate them into our tech stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.

• Expertise in React, Redux (preferably Redux Toolkit), and Vite, with hands-on experience in constructing complex web applications.

• Strong command of modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies.

• Some experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using Node.js or other backend technologies.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.

• Proficient in writing automated tests and understanding/recommending various testing strategies; experience with Vitest and React Testing Library (RTL) is preferred.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as within a team setting.

• Strong problem-solving, algorithmic, and analytical skills.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience with TypeScript.
