Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain robust backend and infrastructure systems utilizing Golang and Java while contributing across the wider engineering stack.

• Collaborate closely with client teams during interactive sessions, articulating technical choices and simplifying complex engineering ideas effectively.

• Deploy and oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP using Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Terraform, and Flux.

• Proactively utilize AI-driven tools and workflows to expedite development, enhance code quality, and promote engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in backend and infrastructure engineering, with practical experience in Golang and Java.

• Proven experience in developing or integrating decentralized systems, data infrastructure, or distributed technologies.

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Terraform, and Flux.

• Actively employing AI tools in everyday coding practices (not just familiar, but advanced and habitual use).

• Knowledge of TigerBeetle, YugabyteDB, or Red Panda.

• Experience in fintech, core banking, or regulated financial services sectors.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to London.
