Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, assess, and troubleshoot edge code to enhance caching, localization, and device efficiency.

• Oversee client implementations to swiftly detect and rectify technical discrepancies.

• Utilize browser DevTools, diagnostic instruments, and internal APIs to examine and resolve latency or personalization issues in real-time production settings.

• Act as the main technical liaison for designated merchant accounts, ensuring effective communication and resolution of any engineering challenges.

• Develop documentation, tools, and processes that streamline onboarding and technical support operations.

• Offer insights to the product team derived from field experience to inform feature improvements and roadmap planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of practical experience in a technical or customer-facing engineering position (such as solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, or full stack development).

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and knowledge of browser debugging techniques.

• Familiarity with web fundamentals including HTTP, caching headers, CDNs, DNS, and rendering performance.

• Experience with Shopify (Liquid, Hydrogen, or headless builds) is preferred; familiarity with SFCC or other enterprise commerce platforms is advantageous.

• Capability to handle issues in live production environments with composure and an effective problem-solving approach.

• Excellent communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
