Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate robust relationships with client teams, perform interviews, lead workshops, and deliver solution recommendations.

• Implement, set up, and tailor Palantir Foundry/AIP utilizing Python and TypeScript.

• Grasp the convergence of business and technical challenges, investigate root causes, and create innovative technical solutions that drive tangible operational results for our clients.

• Educate end users on Palantir tools and generate documentation to enhance client success.

• Assist in planning, managing timelines, fulfilling deliverables, and fostering internal collaboration.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities that delve deeper than surface-level analysis in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that can adjust to client preferences and requirements.

• Solid understanding of data engineering principles.

• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript.

• Experience handling complex enterprise data.

• Ability to adapt and thrive in ambiguous situations while working on mission-critical projects.

• Appreciate collaboration, creativity, and ongoing learning.

• A post-secondary or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).

• Familiarity with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP (preferred).

• Experience in delivering production ML and/or LLM-based solutions (preferred).

• Experience in delivering production frontend applications using React (preferred).

• Experience with Spark, Polars, or distributed computing (preferred).
